Rules for POKER DICE
Poker dice is a game that is played with five six-sided dice, with each die having the six playing-card symbols (9, 10, J, Q, K, and A) printed on its faces. The objective of the game is to achieve the best possible poker hand from the five dice.
Here are the basic rules for playing poker dice:
- Each player takes turns rolling the five dice. The first player to roll is usually determined by the highest roll, with ties being broken by a re-roll.
- After each roll, the player can choose to keep any number of dice and re-roll the rest. There are usually two or three re-rolls allowed per turn.
- Once the player has completed their re-rolls, they must set aside one of the dice to represent their hand. The remaining four dice are ignored.
- The player with the highest-ranking hand wins the round. The hands are ranked in the same way as in poker, with a royal flush being the highest hand and a high card being the lowest.
- If there is a tie, the players with the same ranking hand compare the values of their dice in descending order to determine the winner. For example, two players with a pair of jacks would compare the values of their other three dice to determine who has the higher pair.
- The game continues for a predetermined number of rounds, and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
That’s it! Poker dice is a simple and fun game that can be played with just a set of dice and a group of friends.
